T.I - Sorry

After what felt like a tortuously long wait, T.I. and former OutKast member André 3000 have finally released "Sorry," the duo's highly anticipated collaboration. Produced by Jazze Pha, "Sorry" is slated to appear on T.I.' eighth studio album, Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head, due out Dec. 18.

A melodic and laid-back track, "Sorry" has Tip rhyming about his success and, to put it bluntly, just how fly he knows he is: "And according to the hand on my Audemar/ It's my time to shine..." Modest? Perhaps not, but nobody ever said a lil' extra confidence was a bad thing. André's signature speedy flow is up next, and instead of spitting about how amazing he is, he takes the opportunity to rhyme about his regrets: "Well I'd probably do it differently if second the chance/ Only if some cool ass older man would've let me know in advance."

If you're looking for even more meaning, T.I. stopped by Rap-Up to chat about his new song and shed some light on its inspiration: "It's just more narration of life and the reasons why I should not be sorry for anything that I've endured, for anything that I've gone through, and the reason why I don't owe motherf***ers any apologies. I've come all this way from zero. I ain't got no reason to say sorry to anybody. It's probably one of the most creative records I've done in a long time." Right, so by "sorry" T.I. actually means "I'm totally not sorry. At all.
